Want to experience a real Ibicenco flea market? Then go to the flea market of Sant Jordi, the village between Las Salinas and Ibiza Town. The market is held on the grounds of the San Jordi Hipódromo (horse racing track), which you can also see in the café: beautiful old photos of horse races and prize trophies. Many locals sell everything that is salable from their car: second-hand books, vintage clothing, bohemian-style jewelry, and so on. In winter you can find nicer vintage things than in summer. This market is mainly visited by locals and is less known by tourists. Here too, as in many other Ibizan markets, you can hear live music, for example the drummers from Benirras. The market is held on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and can therefore be easily combined with a half-day Las Salinas, Es Cavallet or Playa den Bossa beach day.
